    What type of translations do you offer? 

We offer official translations – a translation of a document from Spanish into English or vice versa, with official status and public attestation (public trust), done by a translator who has been duly appointed and authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Religion. These translations are legally valid in Costa Rica and can be apostilled to use freely and with equal validity abroad.

   How much do they cost?

Each translated page costs 11.000 colones and consists of 30 lines or less. However, in order to provide you with an accurate quote, you may send us your document to tecpluscr@gmail.com and we will send you a no obligation quote.

    What about discounts?

We offer a special rate to our recurring clients. Also, in translations of 10 or more pages, we can offer 9% discount.

    How long does the translation process take?

That will depend on the documents’ length and the translator’s prior commitments. We attempt to have turn in terms of ten calendar days or less.  

    I really need the translation urgently. Can I have it before that?

Give us a call at 8946-5180. We can help when there is an emergency.

    Have you done this type of work before?

Sure! The translator has extensive experience and will provide you high-quality translations.

     Do you provide apostilles for my documents/translations?

No. You can make this procedure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – locally known as “The Yellow House” in San Jose.

     Where are you located?

We are located in Perez Zeledon, in Palmares near the Riteve station.

       How can I give you the documents?

You have several options:

  1. You may scan them and send them to tecpluscr@gmail.com

  2. You may bring them to our office in Palmares near the Riteve station.

  3. You may call or text us to meet in San Isidro, Perez Zeledon (the city center)

      I want to speak with you but it is late at night / early hours of the morning / it’s a Sunday / holiday

WHAT WE CANNOT DO

Though we try to offer our clients the solutions to their needs and we make an effort to never say no, it is impossible for us to do certain things:

  • Change words or names in the original document.

  • Apostille or certify documents.

  • Provide with legal or immigration advice.

  • Run procedures for you.

  • Perform in whatever way a notary or attorney may.
